Hernando County is a small, semi-rural Nature Coast county, and its intersection danger reflects that scale. When we grouped every fatal and serious-injury crash by junction, Linden Dr & Mariner Blvd came out as the most dangerous intersection in the county — with 11 recurring serious crashes and 15 people seriously injured. Statewide, 98 Florida intersections carry 10 or more recurring serious crashes, and just three counties — Pasco, Manatee, and Orange — hold 79% of them. Two patterns: the grid and US 19

The worst junctions in the county fall into two groups. The first is the Spring Hill residential grid, where Linden Drive crosses the neighborhood's main streets — Linden Dr & Mariner Blvd is the worst intersection in the county, and Linden Dr & Spring Hill Dr also lands near the top. The second is the US 19 corridor, which carries Northcliffe Blvd, St Andrews Blvd, and Forest Oaks Blvd — the same US 19 that ranks among the county's deadliest roads. St Andrews Blvd & US 19 recorded the most deaths of any junction on the list, with 2 killed. Because Hernando is a small county, its list is short: only 2 intersections cross the 10+ threshold and 12 cross 5+, far from the concentrations seen in Pasco, Manatee, and Orange. When crashes happen in Hernando County
