Ranked by the number of people killed, these are Miami-Dade's most dangerous roads:

The expressways — I-95, the Palmetto (SR 826), and Florida's Turnpike (SR 821) — top the list on volume and speed. But the roads that kill most often per crash are the surface arterials: US 1 (South Dixie Highway), SW 8th Street (Calle Ocho / SR 90), and the NW 22nd and 27th Avenue corridors, where a large share of victims are pedestrians. Miami-Dade over-indexes on pedestrian deaths, so those arterials are especially dangerous on foot.
